Safe.

WaterStone's CheckCard is safer than carrying cash, easier than carrying a checkbook, and features MasterCard SecureCodeTM protection for online shopping. If your card is lost or stolen, you may not be liable for unauthorized purchases. Just call 1.800.236.2442 as soon as you realize your card is missing.

If you will be traveling out of state or out of the country, please contact WaterStone Bank at 414.761.1000 or toll-free at 888.686.7272 before you leave. Reasons we may call you:

To protect your account, we monitor CheckCard transactions for potentially fraudulent activity, which may include usage outside of your normal area or any activity associated with fraud trends.

If we suspect fraudulent CheckCard activity, we will contact you by phone to confirm the transactions. Responding to our call is an important part of preventing potential risks and avoiding restrictions we may place on the use of your card.

Our goal is to minimize your exposure to risk and the impact of any fraud. To ensure that we can reach you if needed, please keep us informed of your current phone number and address.

In the meantime, be diligent in monitoring transaction activity on your account and contact us immediately if you identify any fraudulent transactions.

We may also call you if your CheckCard becomes inactive for a five month period to confirm that you are still in possession of your card.

Convenient.

Your CheckCard is accepted the world over – anywhere you spot the familiar MasterCard® logo. And if you ever need quick cash, you can visit one of many financial institutions worldwide or any ATM affiliated with the Pulse or Cirrus networks. Enjoy access to over 850 no-fee ATMs in Wisconsin and Minnesota. It’s that easy.
