About the Finalists:

Ignite the Spirit - Milwaukee

Ignite the Spirit - Milwaukee

Firefighters are known to go to great lengths to help others in need. Ignite the Spirit - Milwaukee was created to raise funds for Firefighters and their families who have suffered unfortunate hardships. Our mission is to ensure that our Brothers and Sisters are never left to battle life’s hardships alone.

Created and managed by Milwaukee Firefighters, all members of Ignite the Spirit - Milwaukee are unpaid volunteers. This means that every donation goes directly to providing financial support to Milwaukee Firefighters and their families.

Tosa Cares

Tosa Cares

Tosa Cares works to serve our community by providing food and assistance.

During this past year Tosa Cares found it necessary to modify the way it has operated due to the pandemic.  The volunteers and the community have responded to the need. As a result, more households have been given assistance with food, clothing, personal care products, school supplies, and diapers, along with the knowledge that people in this community care. The challenge continues.
