WaterStone Bank Announces Plan to Reopen Branch Lobbies March 1

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – 2/26/21 – WaterStone Bank announced today that it will reopen the lobbies at all 14 of its branches starting Monday, March 1, 2021. Policies will be implemented to ensure employees and customers are safe, comfortable and remain in good health.

“Our branch lobbies will be reopening on March 1. We have put in place the necessary safety protocols to protect our employees, customers and communities,” said WaterStone Bank President & CEO Doug Gordon. “In addition, we will continue to service our customers via our drive-ups, call center and digital banking platform.”

WaterStone Bank branches will be open during normal business hours and full service will continue as normal with the following new requirements in place:

  • Customers will be required to wear a mask in branch lobbies. Disposable masks will be provided to customers if they do not have one.
  • The number of customers in a branch at any given time will be limited based on the capacity and physical structure of the branch to ensure social distancing.
  • Internet Café Kiosks will be unavailable for customer use until further notice.
  • Complimentary coffee and cookies will be suspended at the branches until further notice.

WaterStone Bank branch staff will also be required to wear masks, and gloves will be worn when handling cash. Protective poly glass will ensure staff and customers are protected at the branch counters.

The safety and wellbeing of our local communities remains a top priority for the bank. To limit public exposure and keep our communities healthy, WaterStone Bank encourages its customers to use online, mobile and telephone banking services when possible. WaterStone Bank’s Customer Service Center (414-761-1000) is available to assist customers during normal business hours. All branch drive-ups and ATMs will continue to be available for customers to use.
