Wauwatosa, Wis. – 6/17/2020 – WaterStone Bank announced today that it will be closing all branches and offices at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 in observance of Juneteenth.

“The early closure of our offices will allow us to take time to reflect on the social injustices that continue to plague our nation,” said Doug Gordon, President/CEO of WaterStone Bank. “We encourage everyone to take the time to listen, learn and promote positive change. For any time-sensitive banking needs, customers are encouraged to visit their local branch before 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19. Customers are also able to utilize WaterStone’s digital banking tools for any self-service banking needs.

WaterStone Bank’s customer service center will remain open on Friday until 7:00 p.m. for customers in need of assistance with the bank’s new digital banking experience, which launched this week.

WaterStone Bank’s branches will resume normal business hours on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
