Peter Salamone
Residential Mortgage Loan Officer

Peter Salamone joined the WaterStone Bank team in December 2022 as a Residential Mortgage Loan Officer, bringing 30+ years of experience in retail and wholesale mortgage lending. After receiving his B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Peter worked at many notable financial institutions, including Bank of America, Inlanta Mortgage, UW Credit Union, and most formerly, our sister company Waterstone Mortgage. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association.
When he’s not helping customers, Peter is usually outdoors practicing his Archery skills, or looking for a good Friday fish fry with family! He also has a history of coaching youth baseball in the Stone Bank area, where he has resided for the last 25 years.
Business Lenders

Andy Boario
Vice President – Director of Business Banking
Andy leads the WaterStone Bank Business Banking division which he began in 2007. Today, the portfolio boasts over 175 customers and $110,000,000 in loans. With over 25 years of business banking experience, Andy is a specialist in working with privately held companies, specifically, manufacturers, contractors, and distributors, in addition to SBA 504 loans.
Prior to joining the WaterStone Team, Andy held the position of Division Manager-Business Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At Chase Bank, he was responsible for managing the total business banking portfolio and determined the strategic goals and objectives for the region.
Andy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, where he majored in Business Administration and Finance. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and attending sporting events.

Jim Crowley
Vice President – Business Banking
Jim joined WaterStone Bank in 2008, with more than 14 years of lending and banking experience. Prior to joining WaterStone, he served as Senior Vice President at Lincoln State Bank.
With nearly three decades of banking and lending experience, Jim focuses on small business lending needs from owner occupied CRE, to working capital lines of credit, and equipment loans.
He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Platteville, where he majored in Business Administration and Economics. Jim is an assistant coach of varsity football at New Berlin Eisenhower, and serves as President for the Catholic Youth Football Club.

Michael Danielson
Vice President – Business Banking
Mike came to WaterStone Bank in 2022, bringing more than 16 years of business banking experience. Prior to joining WaterStone, he served as a Commercial Banker at Waukesha State Bank.
Mike is passionate about helping small businesses thrive and is most proud to have originated over 600 PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loans during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-2021.
Mike is an active board member for the Elm Grove Community Foundation and the Elm Grove Police Academy. He also resides in Elm Grove with his wife and two Dachshunds.

Jeff Jarecki
Vice President – Business Banking
Jeff joined the WaterStone Bank Team in 2015 with a wealth of experience in full service business lending products, including equipment loans, lines of credit, SBA loans, and Owner Occupied Commercial Real Estate loans. Prior to joining WaterStone, Jeff was a Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender for Layton State Bank in New Berlin.
He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from Marquette University, and attended the University of Wisconsin Madison’s Graduate School of Banking. Jeff resides in New Berlin with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams and golfing.

Kevin Stelzer
Vice President – Business Banking
Kevin came to WaterStone Bank in 2021 with over 10 years of experience from US Bank, most recently serving as an AVP Business Banking Relationship Manager. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Marketing from UW Milwaukee in 2009, he returned to his alma mater in 2015 to receive an MBA.
Outside of work, Kevin regularly volunteers and fundraises for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation as well as the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association. He likes to stay active and enjoy the great outdoors with a range of activities such as fishing, boating, and golfing. Kevin resides in Pewaukee with his wife, three kids, and two dogs.
Commercial Real Estate Lenders

Scott DeJong
Vice President – Commercial Real Estate
DeJong comes to WaterStone Bank with over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently at US Bank. He graduated from the University of Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. DeJong’s expertise in the commercial lending space includes work with apartments, shopping centers, hotels, condominiums, subdivisions and industrial, office and medical office buildings. He’s supported a range of clients including individuals, regional developers, and publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts. DeJong’s mastery financing projects across the nation will be a strong asset to WaterStone Bank.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Scott’s real passion is cycling. He participates annually in the MACC Fund’s Ride for Hope (Trek 100). Furthermore, he is an avid Wisconsin sports fan! DeJong resides with his wife in the Mukwonago community where they own, breed and train horses.

Julie Fay-Krivitz
Vice President – Commercial Real Estate
Julie Fay-Krivitz came to WaterStone Bank in 2011, bringing more than 12 years of experience in the commercial and residential lending fields. Prior to joining WaterStone, she held the position of Lending/Loan Officer for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
Julie received her degree in Real Estate Property Assessment and Appraisal from Waukesha County Technical College. She is a licensed real estate broker and certified residential appraiser for the State of Wisconsin. In addition to her experience in the banking and real estate industries, Julie teaches courses in mortgage banking and property management at Waukesha County Technical College.
As a vested member of the community, Julie is actively involved with the athletic programs and booster clubs for Stone Bank School and Arrowhead Union High School. She also regularly volunteers for the Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha.

Jack Kahl
Vice President – Commercial Real Estate
Jack joined WaterStone Bank in 2003. As a licensed real estate broker, his experience concentrates on property management, commercial leasing, and REO, and includes a portfolio of over $300 million in REO liquidation. Jack’s Commercial Real Estate areas of expertise include 2-4 family residential, multi-family residential and mixed use properties. Jack has a degree in Accounting from Milwaukee Area Technical College, and is a member of the Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA).
While he’s not busy helping his customers, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, cheering them on at hockey, soccer, and baseball games. He also enjoys music, golfing, hiking and traveling.

Joe Mudlaff
Vice President – Director of Commercial Real Estate
Joe joined WaterStone Bank in 2018, bringing more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining WaterStone, he served as Vice President – Investment Real Estate at Bank Mutual in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Joe received an MBA with a focus in Finance from Marquette University and a BBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
He is an active board member for JFS Housing, Inc. where he serves as Treasurer. Joe also volunteers as a mentor for University of Wisconsin Madison’s Real Estate Program, and is a member of the Commercial Association of REALTORS Wisconsin (CARW), National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), and Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA).

Ken Snyder
Vice President – Commercial Real Estate
Ken Snyder joined the WaterStone Bank Commercial Real Estate Team in 2006, after serving in various roles throughout his 35 year tenure with the Bank. Prior to his move into commercial real estate, Ken was the head of the Lending Division where he oversaw the mortgage origination, loan processing, post-closing, and mortgage servicing departments.
Thanks to Ken’s hard work and expertise, his average originations total more than $60,000,000 each year with a commercial portfolio of roughly $500,000,000. He earned his degree in Banking and Financial Management from Stratton College.
In addition to serving his customers, Ken is active in the Kiwanis Club of Wauwatosa and the Commercial Association of REALTORS Wisconsin (CARW). He resides in Waukesha County with his wife and three children where they enjoy outdoor activities including golfing, biking, hiking, tennis, boating, and pickle ball.
