WaterStone Bank has achieved a historic milestone: Thanks to employee feedback, our bank is officially a 2026 USA Today Top Workplaces winner.

The WaterStone Bank team accepting these honors on behalf of the company are.

This elite national honor is based entirely on employee surveys completed by our team members. Out of thousands of organizations across the country with fewer than 500 employees, only 924 made the cut. This is the first time that we have won this prestigious national award, and it reflects our daily commitment to trust, care, and collaboration.

The celebrations do not stop there: We are also thrilled to announce that WaterStone Bank has once again been named a Top Workplace for Southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Marlene Molter, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, shared her pride in the team’s achievement. “Winning this award locally for 14 years, and now breaking onto the national stage, proves that our culture of empowering our employees to serve and support the Southeastern Wisconsin community is sustainable. This double win belongs 100% to our employees who show up and shape our incredible culture every day.”

“The Executive Committee extends a thank you to everyone who shared their voice and energy,” said President/CEO Bill Bruss. “Let’s celebrate this milestone together and continue to build an even better workplace together.”
