How to Order Foreign Currency
Visit one of 5 locations
Established customers may place orders 9am-3pm Monday-Friday¹. Orders placed after 3pm or on Saturday are calculated with the next business days exchange rate².
Choose your currency and place your order
All orders are subject to a $20 fee³. One fee applies for multiple currency orders at one time. Time deposit and mortgage customers must use cash for any fees.
Orders are ready for pick up in 1-2 business days
You will be contacted when your order is ready to pick up at the branch. Any orders not picked up within 10 business days are subject to returns and all fees.

How to Return Foreign Currency
- All currency returns are subject to a $20 fee³
- Time deposit and mortgage customers must receive returns in the form of a Cashier's Check
- All returned bills must be free of rips, tears, or mutilation

WaterStone Bank offers foreign currency exchange services of more than 50 currencies at five locations: Franklin/Hales Corners, Germantown/Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek/27th Street, Wauwatosa/State Street, and Waukesha. All foreign currency exchange orders and returns must be done in person at a branch.
¹ Established customers are all demand deposit, time deposit, and mortgage account holders that have maintained a balance for more than 30 days.
² The currency exchange rate used at WaterStone Bank may differ than the daily rate of exchange and are subject to daily fluctuations.
³ A $20.00 fee is assessed for orders and return orders; fee is subject to change at any time. Currency orders placed and not picked up within 10 business days are subject to a return fee and any depreciation. Fees will be waived for Student, MVP and HERO program customers up to two times annually. Time deposit and mortgage customers must pay fees in cash.
