Bank Director Ranking | WaterStone Bank

Bank Director's Scorecard

The Scorecard annually ranks the 300 largest exchange-traded banks in the United States based on the previous year's performance. It uses five metrics that speak to profitability, asset quality and capital adequacy to score a bank's performance. These metrics are ranked, merged into an overall score, and then ranked again.

About

Waterstone Financial has topped the 2021 Scorecard. We are a $2.2 billion bank based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. It is our first top 25 appearance in the last three years; the bank was 16th in the $1 billion to $5 billion category in the 2020 Scorecard, and 27th in that category in the 2019 Scorecard. The top 25 list this year is dominated by community banks.

We will continue to strive for the number one position by providing our customers with the best customer service and products available!

A Message from Our CEO

“Receiving the top ranking out of 300 banks is an honor that can only be achieved from the work each and every one of our dedicated employees does to create value for our customers, investors, and our community. 2021 marks the 100th Anniversary of WaterStone Bank, and this recognition demonstrates that we continue to stand strong as a community bank.”
